Diploma in Electronic and Cyber Security
1.PATHWAY
The Diploma in Electronic and Cyber Security is academic based and part of the Advanced Diploma in Loss Management programme parthway which leads to the final award of the Certified Loss Manager (CLM) qualification. The programme curriculum specifically embraces all aspects involved in managing electronic and cyber security systems. The diploma is very relevant to the demands of the technolgy based economic environment. It is offered on fulltime, block release at accredited colleges.
2.WHO CAN ENROL
Applicants should have:
At least 2 "A" Level passes including Mathematcis and physics. Normal entry students only.
Mature entry provision is available for applicants with any 5 'O' levels including Mathematics, General Science and English and are over 21 years. Or
Special entry is available to applicants with certificate in electronic engineering
Exemptions
Exemptions are granted on subjects covered in a related course already passed
3.EMPLOYMENT AREAS
Graduates from this programme qualify for employment consideration as Electronic and Cyber Security Systems Technicians in public and private institutions.
4.RECOGNITION OF THE QUALIFICATION
The ICLM Diploma in Electronic and Cyber security meets SADC Qualification Standards Framework (QSF) and international benchmarks. It is accredited by Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology Development as second stage of the Advanced Diploma in Loss Management.
